ABSTRACT
The whole-genome sequence of an African swine fever virus (ASFV) strain (HuB/HH/2019) isolated from Hubei, China, was highly similar to that the Georgia 2007/1 ASFV. After infection with strong strains, domestic pigs show typical symptoms infection, including fever, depression, reddening skin, hemorrhagic swelling various tissues, and dysfunction. earliest detoxification occurred in pharyngeal swabs at 4 days post-infection. viral load blood extremely high, ASFV detected multiple highest loads spleen lungs. An imbalance between pro- anti-inflammatory factors serum leads excessive inflammatory response body. Immune factor expression is suppressed without effectively eliciting immune defense. Antibodies against p30 were not acutely dead pigs. Sequencing peripheral mononuclear cell transcriptome revealed elevated transcription genes associated immunity, defense, stress. massive reduction lymphocyte counts collapses body's system. a count may be important cause mortality These two reasons have inspired researchers reduce responses stimulate effective for future vaccine development.
