ABSTRACT
Dietary intake is an essential source of energy and nutrients, plays irreplaceable role in the breeding S. paramamosain seedlings. In this study, live Artemia nauplii (LA), compound feeds (CF), frozen copepods (FC) adult (FA) were utilized as feed during megalopa stage. To determine impact that diet has on metabolism crablets underwent metamorphosis from stage, analyses both metabolomics fatty acid content conducted. LC-MS-based analysis, a total 104, 205 83 significantly different metabolites (SDMs) identified after being fed with FC, FA, CF, respectively, compared to LA group. Furthermore, significant differences KEGG compounds among three comparisons exhibited similarity mainly associated categories such “Lipids”, “Hormones transmitters”, “Peptides”. The analysis indicated ΣMUFA was higher CF groups other two groups. contrast, highest level ΣPUFA found addition, group showed expression levels synthesis genes, FAS ACC . Conversely, decomposition-related gene CPT1 comparison FA group, FABP3 decreased summary, there observed metabolic profiles metamorphosed under diets. Our experimental results suggested more advantageous cultivation While it remains cannot be entirely substituted at present, potential improve culture performance megalopa. current study could provide valuable data into development artificial diets necessary for future mud crab seedling industry.
