ABSTRACT
The misuse of antibiotics is leading to the emergence multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria, and in absence available treatments, this has become a major global threat. In middle recent severe acute respiratory coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic, which challenged whole world, MDR bacteria increasing due prophylactic administration intensive care unit patients prevent secondary bacterial infections. This just an example underscoring need seek alternative treatments against bacteria. To end, phage therapy been proposed as promising tool. However, further research field mandatory assure safety protocols develop appropriate regulations for its use clinics. requires investing more such non-conventional or therapeutic approaches, new treatment regimens capable reducing preventing future public health concerns that could lead incalculable human economic losses.
