ABSTRACT
Plant health is of utmost importance for optimal agricultural production and sustainability. Unfortunately, biotic abiotic factors put a major constraint on crop safety productivity. diseases caused by oomycetes inflict serious damage to various crops. Moreover, the injudicious use chemical pesticides poses threats related pesticide resistance development in pathogens environmental pollution. Biocontrol offers an effective solution disease control; however, research biocontrol oomycete-related scarce. Thus, this study undertakes screening resources management plant diseases. In regard, 86 isolates Trichoderma spp. were assessed against Phytophthora nicotianae, P. capsici, Pythium vexans, ultimum, dissotocum through dual culture assay. Furthermore, antagonistic effect selected was studied tobacco black shank damping-off cucumber seedlings greenhouse. The relative control three strains AR-4, Tv-1, ST4-1 more than 60%, which not significantly different from 6.88 gl-1 fluopicolide-propamocarb. Whereas, AR-4 80.33% 82.67%, respectively, higher Tv-1 (35.49%) fluopicolide-propamocarb (47.82%). According morphological molecular characterization, fungal identified as koningiopsis, T. asperellum, gamsii, respectively. conclusion, exhibited strong oomycete can be integrated into strategies.
