ABSTRACT
The beneficial effects of lactic acid bacteria are well known and recognized as functional foods that health benefits for companion animals. This study, the first time, reports probiotic properties, safety, whole-genome sequence Pediococcus acidilactici GLP06 isolated from feces beagles. In this candidate P. GLP02 were morphologically characterized tested their antimicrobial capacity, tolerance to different conditions (low pH, bile salts, an artificial gastrointestinal model, high temperature), antibiotic sensitivity, hemolytic activity, cell surface hydrophobicity, autoaggregation adhesion Caco-2 cells. showed better potential. Therefore, was evaluated in vivo safety mice sequencing. results showed, supplemented MG06 group (1010 cfu/mL), not only nontoxic mice, but also promoted development immune system, improved resistance oxidative stress, increased diversity intestinal microorganisms abundance Lactobacillus. Whole-genome sequencing 2,014,515 bp contained 1,976 coding sequences, accounting 86.12% genome, with no drug genes eight CRISPR sequences. conclusion, newly canine-derived had good potential, organs, biodiversity flora, risk drug-resistant gene transfer, indicating can be used a potential prevention treatment diseases
