ABSTRACT
Introduction Licorice ( Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.) is a widely recognized significant form of medicine in China, with long-standing history and extensive usage. It considered the oldest most prevalent herbal China. Currently, licorice market confronted primary challenges mixed genotypes, inconsistent quality, inadequate glycyrrhizic acid content. Methods We conducted field experiments to investigate impact various cultivation locations on growth characteristics, active ingredients, rhizospheric soil physicochemical properties fungal communities that ten different genotypes. Results The findings indicated variations these parameters across genotypes originating from two distinct production regions. characteristics were primarily influenced by genotype, whereas ingredients mainly environmental factors properties. Furthermore, plants more than Additionally, distribution fungi same genotype exhibited areas. utilization structural equation model synthesis reveals quantity strength pathways influence microbial community Discussion Based main results, according its Z009 proved be suitable for Jingtai. From perspective centered ingredient, Z010 optimal both Our study aims enhance understanding ecological adaptability resources identify appropriate specific This research holds practical implications enhancing yield quality licorice, thereby improving overall development.
