ABSTRACT
Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) are being intensively researched and developed to leverage their ability safely effectively deliver therapeutics. To achieve optimal therapeutic delivery, a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between formulation, structure, efficacy is critical. However, vast chemical space involved in production LNPs resulting structural complexity make structure function challenging assess predict. New components formulation procedures, which provide new opportunities for use LNPs, would be best identified optimized using high-throughput characterization methods. Recently, workflow, consisting automated mixing, small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), cellular assays, demonstrated link internal library LNPs. As SAXS data can rapidly collected, stage set collection thousands profiles from myriad LNP formulations. In addition, correlated neutron (SANS) datasets, where systematically deuterated additional contrast inside, complementary information. The centralization SANS datasets with appropriate, standardized metadata describing parameters, into repository will valuable guidance desired properties. this end, we introduce Simple Scattering, an easy-to-use, open storing sharing groups obtained screening experiments. Here, discuss current state repository, including limitations upcoming changes, our vision towards future usage developing collective knowledge base
