Case Report: Migraine-Like Headache With Visual Aura Initiated by Endovascular Coiling Treatment for a Posterior Cerebral Artery Aneurysm

ABSTRACT
Cervical, anterior, and middle cerebral artery aneurysm is a causative factor for migraine, endovascular treatment usually improves migraine headache. Posterior (PCA) rare condition, its association with very rarely reported. In addition, coiling causing migraine-like headache has never been Here, we describe newly developed visual aura after PCA in 31-year-old female patient. One month the therapy, patient stopped using antiplatelet agents clopidogrel aspirin presented an episodic attack twice typical features, including aura, right-sided temporal throbbing pain accompanied nausea, vomiting, photophobia. The recurrence of was terminated by administration. generation probably associated microemboli due to coiling. This case supports hypothesis that can be variant origins.
