ABSTRACT
Background: For measuring their impact in scientific research, the citation count of publications is used bibliometric analysis, though still there no comprehensive summary mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) research. This article intends to provide physicians and neuroscientists with a reference guide assess most influential written on this subject through macroscopic view research activities mTBI. Methods: The database Web Science was compile 100 top-ranking selected were evaluated basis several categorizations including type publications, number citations, country origin, year publication. Results: Between 1946 2020, 13,040 that published included database. least cited received 274 while 1,748. Altogether, 71 from USA 29 other countries. Among all institutions, University Pittsburgh Medical Center led list six publications. Around papers, mostly clinical studies categories neurology neurosciences, 54 different journals. Conclusions: study provides both transverse section historical retrospect for advances mTBI, important observations contributed significant treatment prevention mTBI had been identified.
