Eye movement characteristics and visual fatigue assessment of virtual reality games with different interaction modes

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to investigate the eye movement characteristics and visual fatigue of virtual reality games with different interaction modes. Eye data were recorded using built-in tracker VR device parameters calculated from raw data. The Visual Fatigue Scales Simulator Sickness Questionnaire used subjectively assess overall discomfort experience. Sixteen male 17 female students recruited for this study. Results showed that both primary 360 mode could cause after 30 min gameplay, significant differences observed in behavior between two was more likely fatigue, as shown by objective measurements blinking pupil diameter. Fixation saccade also modes, possibly due modes employed mode. Further research is required examine effects content interactive on well develop measures assessing it.
