Role of inflammatory factors in prediction of Gleason score and its upgrading in localized prostate cancer patients after radical prostatectomy

ABSTRACT
To investigate the role of inflammatory factors including systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in predicting Gleason Score (GS) upgrading (GSU) localized prostate cancer (PCa) after radical prostatectomy (RP).The data 297 patients who underwent biopsy RP our center from January 2014 March 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. Preoperative clinical characteristics age, values tPSA, total volume (TPV), f/t PSA ratio, body mass (BMI), GS SII, NLR, monocyte (LMR), (NR), platelet (PLR), (LR), mean (MPV) red cell distribution (RDW) as well pathological T (pT) stage collected compared according grades (GS ≤ 6 GS≥7), respectively. ROC curve analysis was used confirm discriminative ability NLR their combination with tPSA for GSU.
