ABSTRACT
Cuproptosis is a novel form of programmed cell death that disrupts the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle and mitochondrial function. The mechanism cuproptosis quite different from common forms such as apoptosis, pyroptosis, necroptosis, ferroptosis. However, potential connection between tumor immunity, especially in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), poorly understood. We used machine learning algorithms to develop cuproptosis-related scoring system. immunological features system were investigated by exploring its association with clinical outcomes, immune checkpoint expression, prospective immunotherapy response LUAD patients. predicted sensitivity chemotherapeutic agents. Unsupervised consensus clustering was performed precisely identify cuproptosis-based molecular subtypes explore underlying immunity. We determined aberrant expression prognostic relevance genes (CRGs) LUAD. There significant differences survival, biological function, infiltration among subtypes. In addition, constructed could predict microenvironment, efficacy targeted drugs patients After validating large-scale data, we propose combining score blockade (ICB) therapy can significantly enhance guide drug application LUAD.The promising biomarker high accuracy specificity for determining prognosis, subtypes, infiltration, treatment options therapies It provides insights personalized strategies
