ABSTRACT
Background & aims Prognostic factors of metastatic rectal cancer are not well known. We aim to determine prognostic affecting survival for patients and also investigate the effect tumor localization on overall survival. Methods Metastatic who received treatment in 5 different centers between 2012 2022 were included. evaluated using univariate multivariate analysis. The statistical methods included Pearson’s chi-square test, Fisher exact Log-rank Cox regression model. Results A total 283 with study. median OS was significantly among three groups (upper rectum 30.1 months, middle 28.3 low 24.8 months; log-rank p = 0.25). In analysis, Grade 3, ECOG performance status 2, presence multiple sites, KRAS mutation, liver metastases, nonregional lymph node bone metastases significant predictors poor sites determined as indicators worse prognosis. Conclusion Our findings, primary location did affect cancer. most important grade, status.
