ABSTRACT
The present study determines the potential antioxidants in Moutan Cortex (MC) and predicts its targets of anti-oxidative activities. quantitative analysis free radical scavenging assays were conducted to detect main components MC assess anti-oxidant grey relational network pharmacology approach employed predict key Six constitutes MCs quantified by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) activities evaluated DPPH ABTS methods. Then was acting on activity based chem-bio results. predicted mechanisms anti-oxidation uncovered cell test, respectively. content paeonol paeoniflorin accounts for more than 80% whole detected components. However, two ingredients showed a great variety among MCs. antioxidant capacities also discrepancy identified be paeonol, gallic acid benzoylpaeoniflorin, their therapeutic verified, results reveal that has significant compounds benzoylpaeoniflorin could considered as promising candidates with property suppressing oxidative stress apoptosis.
