ABSTRACT
Background: FNDC5 belongs to the family of proteins called fibronectin type III domain-containing which carry out a variety functions. The expression is associated with occurrence and development tumors. However, role in gastric cancer remains relatively unknown. Methods: In research, its value for prognosis patients were observed TCGA database GEO datasets patients. regulation cells proliferation, invasion, migration was determined. WGCNA Enrichment analysis performed on genes co-expressed identify potential FNDC5-related signaling pathways. Meanwhile, LASSO Cox regression based develops risk score predict survival Results: decreased tissues compared normal tissues. indicated that lower mRNA levels better overall disease-free significant negative correlation found between abundance CD4 + memory T cancer. vitro overexpression inhibits invasion cells, without affecting proliferation. Finally, A two-gene module gene built clinical ending Conclusion: low expressed predicts prognosis. may be attributed increased number activated T-cell infiltration tumors, but exact mechanism effect needs further explored. Overexpressing does not affect At last, we constructed model composed two genes, this help lay foundation in-depth research individualized treatment
