ABSTRACT
Domain of unknown function 4228 (DUF4228) proteins are a class widely found in plants, playing an important role response to abiotic stresses. However, studies on the DUF4228 family soybean ( Glycine max L.) sparse. In this study, we identified total 81 genes genome, named systematically based their chromosome distributions. Results showed that these were unevenly distributed 20 chromosomes soybean. The predicted three groups (Groups I–III) maximum likelihood phylogenetic tree. Genetic structure analysis most GmDUF4228 contained no introns. Expression profiling expressed different organs and tissues RNA-seq data used characterize expression profiles under treatments drought salt stresses, with nine showing significant up-regulation both stress further functionally verified by promoter cis -acting elements) quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR). Due its upregulation stresses qRT-PCR analyses, GmDUF4228-70 was selected for functional transgenic plants.
