ABSTRACT
Soil deterioration, low nitrogen use efficiency (NUE), and environmental risks caused by excessive chemical N fertilizer are key factors restricting sustainable agriculture. It is extremely critical to develop effective management strategies that consider both agronomic benefits. From 2017 2019, a field experiment was conducted assess the effects of combinations organic fertilizers (OF, provided at 30, 50, 70% total applied N) controlled-release urea (CU) on NUE, leaching wheat yield compared with CU. The results suggested OF released slowly in early stage showed significant residual effect, while CU quickly first 2 months. substitutes 30-50% increased 4.2-9.2%, 70%OF+30%CU treatment no difference relative treatment. average maximum apparent NUE recovery (50.4%) achieved under 50%OF+50%CU treatment, but partial factor productivity not affected type. As application rate increased, carbon content value decreased. NO3- -N NH4+ concentrations OF+CU treatments were lower before jointing higher from grain-filling mature stages than those mainly concentrated 0-60-cm layer soil substitution, 60-100-cm significantly reduced. Hence, suggest combination synchronizes absorption availability due period soils proved be best strategy for simultaneously increasing production reducing leaching.
