ABSTRACT
Plants have long been considered a cost-effective platform for recombinant production. A recently recognized additional advantage includes the low risk of contamination human pathogens, such as viruses and bacterial endotoxins. Indeed, great advance has made in developing plants “factory” to produce proteins use biopharmaceutical purposes. However, there is still need develop new tools protein production plants. In this study, we provide data showing that B1 domain Streptococcal G (GB1) can be multi-functional N-terminal fusion GB1 increased expression level various target ranging from 1.3- 3.1-fold at depending on proteins. led stabilization Furthermore, direct detection GB1-fusion by secondary anti-IgG antibody eliminated primary western blot analysis. Based these data, propose small used versatile tag
