ABSTRACT
The generation of oxygen and organic matter in plants mainly depends on photosynthesis, which directly affects plant growth development. chloroplast is the main organelle photosynthesis occurs. In this study, a Glycine max pale green leaf 3-1 ( Gmpgl3-1 ) mutant was isolated from soybean mutagenized population. presented with decreased chlorophyll contents, reduced stroma thylakoids, yields, numbers pods per plant. Bulked segregant analysis (BSA) together map-based cloning revealed single-nucleotide non-synonymous mutation at 341st nucleotide first exon development-related GmTic110a gene. phenotype knockout same as that mutant. gene highly expressed leaves various developmental stages, its protein localized to inner membrane. Split luciferase complementation assays coimmunoprecipitation (co-IP) experiments interacted GmTic20, GmTic40a, GmTic40b tobacco leaves. These results indicated plays an important role
