ABSTRACT
As the main component of snowmelt agents, NaCl is widely used in northern winters and significantly impacts expected growth garden plants north China. Salix matsudana also faced with salt stress caused by snowmelt, which seriously affects its development as tree species landscape. However, how exogenous calcium alleviates not yet clear. In this study, indicators indices, photosynthetic characteristics resistance were measured hydroponic assays combination three conditions (0, 50 200 mmol·L-1) five concentrations 2.5, 5, 10 20 mmol·L-1). The study's results indicated that application remarkably promoted seedlings under stress. When concentration was mmol·L-1, plant height basal diameter increased significantly, biomass all parts reached maximum (P< 0.05). Exogenous can substantially improve photosynthesis parameters, pigment content product synthesis at an level highest value. chlorophyll fluorescence parameters (Fv/Fm, Fv/F0) decreased different photochemical efficiency (Fv/Fm) potential (Fv/F0) peaked when higher than other treatments water use affected considerably WUE iWUE peak values those mmol·L-1 increase activities CAT, SOD POD enzymes concentrations. Under stress, adding survival rate seedlings. conclusion, optimum for mmol·L-1. High or low did achieve best alleviating matsudana.
