ABSTRACT
The new paradigms that are emerging because of technological and social advances derived from the massive use information communication technologies (ICTs) generating a transformative process is modifying all economic sectors, education no exception. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) carrying out such transformation, reacting to need adaptation this reality, experiencing complete cultural change challenging attitudes, actions values shared by members stakeholders these organizations. In order analyze scientific literature about topic, bibliometric analysis has been carried covering period 1900-2021, considering sample 469 articles included in Web Science (WoS) database. results show multidisciplinary nature including published different areas, as well its close link with aspects innovation, governance agile methodologies. Finally, study highlights main lines research could attract more attention immediate future.
