ABSTRACT
This study explores the relationship between self-efficacy, sports participation, and health promotion behavior for middle-aged elderly people. Therefore, it provides a theoretical reference improving quality of life adults promoting healthy lifestyle elderly.A total 591 (men: 36.2%; women: 63.8%; age: above 50 years) from five cities Henan Province were selected as research objects by convenient sampling. The scales used questionnaire survey. Amos24.0 was to test structural equation model, intermediary function test, bootstrap analysis. Results: self-efficacy people positively impacted behavior. path coefficient 0.439. Sports participation played partial role (χ 2/df = 1.785, root mean square error approximation 0.036, residual 0.021, goodness-of-fit index 0.967, comparative fit 0.976, Tucker-Lewis Index 0.971) proportion effect 26.34% (0.100, 0.225).(1) Self-efficacy can significantly affect people; (2) plays From this point view, we enhance improve their advancing participation.
