ABSTRACT
This study focuses on examining the role of leaders' Five-Factor Model (FFM) personality traits in their mentoring quality and mentees' job satisfaction. It has also examined how impacts satisfaction, leading to performance at workplace. The used an explanatory research methodology determine cause-and-effect relationship between mentors' FFM characteristics, quality, satisfaction performance. was based path-goal theory Big a questionnaire utilized collect information model's constructs. Following non-probability convenience sampling technique, empirical data were collected from academic non-academic staff public private higher education institutions (HEIs) located within Pakistan five-point Likert scale. proposed hypotheses tested by using PLS software. Four main conclusions derived this study. First, openness new experiences, agreeableness, emotional stability substantially influenced Surprisingly, conscientiousness extraversion qualities did not affect mentees. Second, findings demonstrated that experience, conscientiousness, extroversion considerable influence but agreeableness have negligible impact. Third, leader had substantial effect work Fourth, confirmed belief favorable context Pakistan's educational sector. current study's provided valuable insights about which they need foster leaders, making them excellent enhance organizational settings.
