ABSTRACT
Objectives: Dementia of the Alzheimer's type (DAT) is most common chronic neurodegenerative disease. At present, pathogenesis DAT not completely clear, and there are no drugs that can cure Once an individual diagnosed with DAT, survival time only 3 to 9 years. Therefore, urgent need determine etiology associated influencing factors find a breakthrough in treatment DAT. Methods: We studied relationship between polymorphisms several genes (including BIN1 APOE) susceptibility effects sex differences on Our study included 137 patients 509 healthy controls (HCs). Results: The APOE rs429358 polymorphism CC CT genotypes were increased risk women. found significant association ε4 frequency allele group (15.5%) was higher than HC (8.7%). rs7561528 decreased men. Conclusions: gene 7561528 may affect Chinese Han population.
