HIV/AIDS-Related Knowledge and Attitudes Among Chinese College Students and Associated Factors: A Cross-Sectional Study

ABSTRACT
In recent years, adolescent has become one of the high-risk groups for HIV. Meanwhile, good HIV awareness and positive attitude are essential prevention. This study aims to evaluate extent which college students understand their attitudes toward HIV-infected patients, as well correlative factors. The data used in this came from a cross-sectional survey. An anonymous online questionnaire was investigate demographic characteristics, HIV/AIDS-related knowledge, patients 17,678 university Henan. Descriptive statistics, Chi-square test logistic regression were analyze differences connections between variables SPSS version 25.0. Participants' knowledge rate 80.8%. Levels students' correlated with gender, nationality, marital status, grade (p < 0.01). Female [OR = 0.757, 95% CI (0.699-0.820)] minority (OR 0.717, (0.619-0.832)] had insufficient health education knowledge. male 0.845, (0.773-0.924)], unaware-ness/awareness 2.385, (2.111-2.694)] more likely hold patients. relevant departments should strengthen promote AIDS transmission Many still negative government further make efforts eliminate social discrimination lead people approach fairly.
