A study on the influence of community spiritual comfort service on the mental health of older people

China is experiencing rapid population aging, with the proportion of older adult people aged 60 and above reaching 19. 8% total in 2022. With growth age, physical function adults declines their mental health getting worse, increasing trend empty nesting childlessness, lack information social interaction others fall into isolation, loneliness some problems, problems gradually rises mortality rate increases incrementally, requiring effective ways to intervene promote healthy aging.The present study investigated influence spiritual comfort services on 12,624 years or 23 provinces from 2017 2018, aim providing a case for development more targeted strategies people.Using data 2018 CLHLS Survey, influencing factors were analyzed using chi-square test logit regression model. The mechanism care facilities was chain mediation effect.The decreased risk negative emotion adults, female (OR = 1.168), rural residents 1.385), no drinking 1.255), not exercising 1.543), having pension insurance 1.233), low annual household income 1.416) being characteristics as factors. mediating effect results showed that had partial between status people, accounted 40.16% use can effectively reduce alleviate adverse symptoms guidance education chronically ill patients, improve good perception order quality life status.
