ABSTRACT
The valorization of bioeconomy by-products holds immense significance in achieving sustainability goals and fostering resource efficiency, not only to reduce the amount waste generated but also significantly decrease carbon footprint associated with several industrial fields, by promoting circular economy. wine industry is one major contributors for world’s economy a great producer by-products, no process associated. Grape stalks are source chemical molecules, as polyphenols, that can be applied production bio-adhesives. In present work, grape stalk particles were used raw material obtain highly rich extract bonding properties through solid/liquid extraction. Different extraction agents tested (water, NaOH, Na 2 CO 3 ) at varied concentrations (0.1%, 0.5%, 1.0%, respectively). Additionally, extracts chemically characterized, capacity was evaluated. Using NaOH an efficiency 8.9% total content polyphenols 1.4% achieved. Moreover, all presented interesting (>1.0 MPa) hot-press 120°C 120 s. composite panel produced using adhesive vine strain fulfills requirements type P1 particleboards terms internal bond strength, reaching 0.66 MPa. mechanical wettability allow foreseeing promising application food packaging industry.
