ABSTRACT
Plant extracts are rich in a variety of nutrients and contain large number bioactive compounds, compared with traditional feed additives, they have advantages such as wide sources, natural safety nutrition. This study employed vitro antioxidant animal experiments to comprehensively evaluate the use Toona sinensis extract (TSE) broiler production. 508 1-day-old Cobb 500 broilers were randomly assigned 7 experimental groups 6 replications 12 birds/replicate. Two received Vitamin C (VC) 300 g/t E g/t, five dose TSE 0, 300, 600, 900, 1,200 their feed. The spanned 42 days, starter phase (1–21 days) finisher (22–42 days). results showed that ascorbic acid, had scavenging ability 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl hydroxyl radical, IC 50 values 0.6658 mg/mL 33.1298 mg/mL, respectively. Compared 0 group, fed significant weight gain during increased feed-to-weight ratio both phases. Additionally, receiving enhanced dry matter organic utilization. Concerning meat quality, group demonstrated cooked yield, pH value, well higher capacity (T-AOC), dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) serum. In addition, there was no difference ileal microflora due supplementation. summary, this confirms positive impact dietary inclusion on growth, serum antioxidants.
