ABSTRACT
A 7-year-old Lhasa Apso presented with a history of left thoracic limb lameness and neck pain. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed well-defined, extradural lesion that was hyperintense on T1-weighted (T1W) images isointense T2-weighted (T2W) T2* located at the lamina C4 vertebra. Computed tomography showed an isoattenuating contrast-enhancing mass centered vertebral associated osteolysis. The surgically debulked, histopathology malignant melanocytic tumour. patient recovered completely received radiotherapy three doses melanoma vaccine as adjunctive treatment. Eighteen months following treatment, pain again, but further investigations were declined this stage, euthanised. To author’s knowledge, is first case report describing characteristics cervical tumour in dog. This illustrates MRI CT features treatment canine vertebrae.
