Garden angelica (Angelica archangelica L.), native to the northern temperate region, is widespread in Europe and Asia. Since middle ages, it has been used for healing as a vegetable traditional dishes. In modern era, proven that A. complex chemical composition. The main derivatives contribute plant’s biological activities are essential oil coumarins. this review, focus on cross-analysis of taxonomy archangelica, its distribution different regions, with presentation richness biochemical composition, which overall contributes use roots plant folk medicine.
