The development of introduced pulse varieties has made valuable contributions to the global agricultural industry, and China is one largest producers in international market. A special type pulse, red kidney bean, a major contribution improving rural economy. Taking Kelan County, Shanxi Province, as an example, this paper expounds on formation bean industry its impact local development. existing research used qualitative case study (QCS) method examine driver beans industry. This found that (1) benefited from adherence market demand-oriented strategy, focusing breeding retaining excellent varieties, vigorously supporting construction technical systems cultivation main body industrial chain.
