ABSTRACT
Subjective cognitive decline (SCD) is prevalent in the general population, particularly among Hispanic adults. SCD increases risk of mild impairment (MCI) and dementia. While non-pharmacologic interventions are recommended to mitigate preserve daily function MCI, such not readily available for Spanish-speaking adults with SCD. This pilot study, preregistered at clinicialtrials.gov, aimed develop a linguistically culturally appropriate adaptation an existing memory compensation intervention, Memory Support System (MSS), from English Spanish, gather data assess its impact this population. Twenty 16 support partners were recruited. Measures treatment adherence, function, self-efficacy memory, quality life, mood, anxiety, caregiver burden assessed baseline, end, 8-week follow-up.
