ABSTRACT
Background: The basement membrane (BM) serves as a major barrier to impede tumor cell invasion and extravasation during metastasis. However, the associations between BM-related genes GC remain unclear. Methods: RNA expression data corresponding clinical information of STAD samples were downloaded from TCGA database. We identified subtypes constructed gene prognostic model using lasso-Cox regression analysis. also investigated single-cell properties prognostic-related TME characteristic, TMB status, chemotherapy response in high- low-risk groups. Finally, we verified our results GEPIA database human tissue specimens. Results: A six-gene lasso Cox (APOD, CAPN6, GPC3, PDK4, SLC7A2, SVEP1) was developed. Activated CD4+ T cells follicular shown infiltrate more widely group. group harbored significantly higher better prognosis, favoring immunotherapy. Conclusions: for predicting immune infiltration, response. This research provides new ideas developing effective individualized treatment patients.
