ABSTRACT
This paper presents a novel, scalable, and modular multiport power electronic topology for the integration of multiple resources. converter is not only scalable in terms renewable energy resources (RES) storage devices (SDs) but also output ports. Multiple dc outputs are designed to serve as input stacking modules (SMs) multilevel (MMC). The proposed bidirectional nature superior functionality way that universal responsible RES/SDs regulates ports SMs MMC. All can be easily integrated (and controlled), controlled independently response any load variations. An isolated active half-bridge with secondaries acts central hub processing at primary side. To verify converter, detailed design converter-based system presented along control algorithm managing on individual component level. Additionally, different modes management (emulating availability/variability sources (RES)) exhibited analyzed here. Finally, simulation results detail validation concepts process.
