ABSTRACT
In this paper, we propose a high-durability X-band patch antenna with coplanar waveguide (CPW) feeding network that can directly connect the upper and lower transmitting receiver modules without additional cabling. To improve durability of antenna, both sub miniature push-on (SMP) connector feed-pin are separated through CPW layer. This structure minimize deterioration performance when unwanted movement SMP occurs from external shocks. verify design feasibility, reflection coefficient radiation patterns proposed measured in full anechoic chamber. The is −27 dB at 10 GHz, operating frequency bandwidth (|Γ| < −10 dB) 4.7% (9.82~10.29 GHz) X-band. has maximum gain 5.7 dBi bore-sight direction. addition, evaluations according to movements provoked by shocks investigated using Monte Carlo simulations. results demonstrate suitable for military ship applications involve exposure various
