ABSTRACT
A Modular COsmic Ray Detector (MCORD) was prepared for use in various physics experiments. MCORD detectors can be used laboratory measurements or become a part of large measurement sets. as muon detector, veto system, tool supporting the testing and calibration other detectors. also work stand-alone device scientific commercial purposes. The basic element is one section consisting eight oblong scintillators with double-sided light reading performed by silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs). This presents practical description testing, calibration, programming analogue digital electronics modules. characterisation methods front-end electronic modules, obtained results, their implementation into an operating system are presented. In addition, we describe development environment procedures to prepare our kit use. architecture FPGAs presented data-collecting simple coincidence circuit.
