ABSTRACT
This paper presents a novel dual-band Gysel filtering power divider (FPD) with an excellent isolation performance and significantly wide bandwidth. Although dividers have been extensively studied in the field of radio frequency (RF), integration functionality expansion bandwidth remain challenging. The proposed design addresses these challenges by incorporating transform resonators (FTRs) microstrip/slotline (M/S) phase inverter into classic topology. FTR is directly connected to output port provide response, enabling FPD operate without external coupling between resonator port. M/S dual-layer 180° shifter, designed replace conventional transmission lines loaded two resistors FPD, achieving To validate method, center frequencies 1.4 GHz 1.7 designed, fabricated, measured. measured results show that in-band return loss greater than 20 dB, insertion about 0.6 amplitude imbalance characteristics are good. In addition, dB-isolation fractional achieves 97% (0.78–2.25 GHz). agreement simulation results, validating effectiveness methodology.
