ABSTRACT
Extreme weather events lead to electrical network failures, damages, and long-lasting blackouts. Therefore, enhancement of the resiliency systems during emergency situations is essential. By using concept standby redundancy, this paper proposes two different energy for increasing load a random blackout. The main contribution techno-economic environmental comparison resilient systems. first system utilizes typical traditional generator (TG) as component providing electricity blackouts second grid-connected microgrid consisting photovoltaic (PV) battery storage (BES) component. Sensitivity analyses are conducted investigate survivability both objective function minimizes total net present cost (NPC) (COE) by considering defined constraints resiliency. Simulations performed HOMER, results show that having almost same resilience in systems, system, which microgrid, indicates lower NPC COE compared system. More details shown highlight effectiveness weakness each
