ABSTRACT
Four typical types of artificial defects are designed in conducting the decomposition experiments SF6 gas to obtain and understand characteristics gas-insulated medium under different negative DC partial discharge (DC-PD), use obtained diagnosing type severity insulation fault equipment. Experimental results show that discharges caused by four decompose generate five stable decomposed components, namely, CF4, CO2, SO2F2, SOF2, SO2. The concentration, effective formation rate, concentration ratio components can be associated with PD types. Furthermore, back propagation neural network algorithm is used recognize recognition compared concentrations their ratios more suitable as characteristic quantities for recognition, using those recognizing a good effect.
