ABSTRACT
A shifted laser surface texturing method (sLST) was developed for the improvement of production speed functional textures to enable their industrial applicability. This paper compares classic methods using a practical example, with focus on delivering highest processing speed. The accuracy texture is assessed by size and circularity measurements use LabIR paint depth profile measurement contact profiler. heat accumulation temperature increase usage efficiency were also calculated. (path filling hatch) performed well (deviation ≤ 5%) up certain scanning (0.15 0.7 m/s). For method, no limit identified within maximum system (8 shapes showed similar deviations (6% 10%) all methods. in its burst variant achieved (11 times faster, 146 mm2/min). path per needed power (64 mm2/(min·W)), lowest (3 K) (99%). advantages combination GHz machining multispot approach described.
