ABSTRACT
Gold is an essential noble metal for electronics, and its application area increasing continuously through the introduction of gold nanoparticle ink that enables rapid prototyping direct writing electrodes on versatile substrates at a low temperature. However, synthesis nanoparticles has certain limitations involving high cost, long time, large waste material, frequent use chemicals. In this study, we suggest simultaneous laser refining cyanide selective fabrication directly substrate without separate step. commonly first product from primitive ore, can be extracted photothermal decomposition by laser. It was confirmed laser-induced thermocapillary force plays important role in creating continuous patterns aligning refined gold. The resultant exhibited resistivity analogous to conventional method using nanoparticles, facile repair process damaged electrode demonstrated as proof-of-concept. proposed transformative approach patterning, distinguished previous top-down bottom-up approaches, potential replace well-known techniques provide new branch manufacturing scheme.
