ABSTRACT
Canine filariasis is caused by several nematode species, such as Dirofilaria immitis, repens, Brugia pahangi, malayi, and Acanthocheilonema reconditum. Zoonotic one of the world's neglected tropical diseases. Since 2000, World Health Organization (WHO) has promoted a global filarial eradication program to eliminate 2020. Apart from vector control strategies, infection reservoir hosts necessary for more effective control. In addition, many studies have reported that Wolbachia development, reproduction, survival nematode. Consequently, use antibiotics kill in nematodes now become an alternative strategy filariasis. Previously, case subconjunctival dirofilariasis spp. been woman who resides center Bangkok, Thailand. While ITS1-PCR 41 (71.93%) positive-30 (52.63%) identified containing immitis 11 (19.30%) whereas malayi not detected.
