ABSTRACT
This study examined the uniformity of illuminance field distributions light guide plates (LGPs). First, authors designed microstructural patterns on surface an LGP. Then, a mold LGP with optimal design was fabricated by photolithography method. Micro-injection molding (μIM) used to manufacture molded LGPs. μIM technology can simultaneously large-sized wedge-shaped LGPs and micro-scale microstructures. Finally, values various microstructures were obtained through optical measurements. compared designs structures, which included without those microstructure primary design. The average roughly 196.1 cd/m2. Its 1.3 times that also discusses influenced process parameters. temperature found be most important processing parameter affecting distribution μIM. had better than 86.4%. nearly 1.65 optimized fabrication exhibited good distributions.
