ABSTRACT
The present study involves the synthesis of photocatalytic composite nanofibers (NFs) comprising ilmenite nickel titanite-supported carbon (NiTiO3/TiO2@CNFs) using an electrospinning process. NFs obtained were utilized in hydrogen (H2) production from photohydrolysis ammonia borane (AB). experimental findings show that with a loading 25 mg had good catalytic performance for H2 generation, producing stoichiometric 11 min 1 mmol AB under visible light at °C and 1000 rpm. increase catalyst load to 50, 75, 100 leads corresponding reduction reaction time 7, 5, 4 min. kinetics investigations suggest rate is directly proportional amount system, adhering first-order rate. Furthermore, it was observed remains unaffected by concentration AB, thereby suggesting zero order. Increasing temperature results decrease duration reaction. estimated activation energy value 35.19 kJ mol-1 obtained. demonstrated remarkable consistent effectiveness throughout five consecutive cycles. possess capacity function as feasible substitute costly catalysts process generation AB.
