ABSTRACT
Wastewater treatment is indispensable as wastewater can lead to adverse health effects and deteriorate the quality of life on earth. Photocatalysis a facile methodology address this issue. In study, nanocomposites (NCs) manganese oxide (Mn3O4) nickel (NiO) were synthesized in different weight ratios via solid-state reaction route. Structural properties, optical surface morphology, functional group analysis nanomaterials conducted using X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV– Vis spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) along with energy-dispersive (EDX) analysis, Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) respectively. The bandgap nanocomposite decreases significantly from 2.35 eV for Mn3O4 NPs 1.65 Mn3O4/NiO (NC). Moreover, adsorption studies followed by photocatalytic performance NCs evaluated determine removal methylene blue (MB) dye wastewater. enhances ratio composite increases one percentage three percentage. degradation efficiency was calculated be 95%. results show that could play an important role purification environmental remediation.
