ABSTRACT
To promote the effective combination of photovoltaic (PV) utilization and urban development, this study proposes that solar PV generation should be taken as an important resource environmental carrying capacity factor, which is defined “Photovoltaic Carrying Capacity (PVCC)”, to integrated into future planning. According PVCC assessment on global cities, sensitivity different influence factors analyzed benefits optimization strategies are also discussed. Additionally, in equilibrium analysis distribution six sample countries, we discuss both causes impact their gap. That shows average areas can reach 23.13%, approaches anticipated needs development cities by 2050.Though may feasible PVCC, they might only make significant changes medium or large cities. When considering high-efficient utility local energy, dispersed layout population necessary implement spatial results, adjustment suggestions planning each country Finally, it pointed out proactive great significance achieve higher energy supply will available cognition guiding future.
