ABSTRACT
Chicken infectious anemia (CIA) is a vertical transmission chicken disease caused by the virus (CAV). The can induce stunting and immunosuppression in chicks infecting bone marrow-derived stem cells, causing huge economic losses for poultry industry. To determine prevalence of CIA Shandong Province, China, 854 suspected samples were collected analyzed 13 cities from 2020 to 2022. PCR results showed that total 115 CAV isolated. CAV-positive rates 17.21% (26/151) 2020, 12.23% (35/286) 2021, 12.94% (54/417) 2022, with severe mixed infections. Among them, fowl adenovirus (FAdV) most common, accounting 40.86%. VP1 gene homology analysis isolated strains shared 96.1-100% previously reported strains. Genetic variation located genotype A. These indicate infection chickens recent years has been prevalent infections are but there no significant genetic variations. Our extend understanding evolution Province. They will offer new references further study epidemiology prevention control this disease.
