Exploring Managers’ Experiences of Hospital Disaster Preparedness: A Qualitative Study

Background: Preparedness is one of the important and effective pre-crisis management stages involves all actions programs that enable organization to respond quickly effectively in critical situations. To this end, study aimed explore experiences crisis managers experts hospital disaster preparedness. Methods: This qualitative was conducted using conventional content analysis 2019. The research population included specialists Ardabil Province. participants were 14 who selected purposive sampling. data collected through semi-structured interviews analyzed Griesheim Landman’s approach. Results: revealed four main categories including planning, infrastructural development, human resources, intersectoral coordination. Conclusion: findings present highlighted significance preparedness for emergencies, having codified instructions, implementation evaluation increase hospitals deal with emergencies.
