ABSTRACT
Objetivo: Describir comparativamente la conducta sexual de los estudiantes de una Universidad Estatal de provincias a lo largo de treinta anos. Material y Metodos: Se comparan tres estudios realizados en la misma Universidad, con diseno transversal descriptivo, siendo la poblacion la totalidad de estudiantes en 1984, 1999 y 2012; se realizo muestreo estratificado por grupos de facultades con tamano de muestra obtenido mediante formula: 314, 384 y 512 alumnos respectivamente; el instrumento fue: cuestionario anonimo validado con aplicacion en aulas pidiendo permiso al docente. Resultados: La prevalencia de coito heterosexual informada por los varones fue de 91 % (1984), 84% (1999) y 73 % (2012), en las mujeres 17% (1984), 20% (1999) y 29% (2012); el tipo de persona en la primera relacion sexual en las mujeres es el enamorado en todos los estudios; en los varones existe notable cambio: en 1984: enamorada 30%, amiga 10%, prostituta 55%, en 1999 enamorada 45%, amiga 29% y prostituta 21% y en el 2012 enamorada 54,5%, amiga 22,7%, prostituta 9,5%; la prostituta ya no es pareja de iniciacion sexual del varon universitario como antano. Las variantes sexuales tienen poca respuesta positiva e incluso alta proporcion de no respuesta lo que limita su analisis. Conclusiones: Se mantiene a lo largo de 30 anos la diferencia de conducta sexual manifestada por los varones y mujeres respecto a la proporcion que admiten tener coito heterosexual con disminucion progresiva en varones e incremento en mujeres y el tipo de persona en la primera relacion sexual ha variado notablemente en el varon, continuando la alta negatividad de responder ante preguntas de relaciones homosexuales y otras variantes. Results: The prevalence of heterosexual intercourse reported by males was 91% (1984), 84% (1999) and 73% (2012), in the case of women was 17% (1984), 20% (1999) and 29% (2012); type of person in sexual intercourse in women is boyfriend, but in males there is marked change in 1984: girlfriend 30%, friend 10%, prostitute 55%; in 1999, girlfriend 45%, friend 29% and prostitute 21% and 2012 girlfriend 54.5%, friend 22.7%, prostitute 9.5%: prostitute is no longer the type of sexual initiation couple of University male as it once was. Homosexual relations have the highest percentage of non-response which prevents the adequate analysis, however the proportion which in 1999 was 5.2% in males and 2.9% in women, was 10%, and 5.2% in 2012. Conclusions: It keeps over 30 years the difference in sexual behavior expressed by men and women with respect to the proportion admitting to have heterosexual intercourse with progressive decrease in men and increase for women and the type of person to sexual intercourse has varied significantly in male, continuing high negativity to respond the questions of homosexual relationships.
