ABSTRACT
Due to the urgent need develop technologies for continuous glucose monitoring in diabetes individuals, poten tial research has been applied by invoking microwave tech niques. Therefore, this work presents a novel technique based on single port circuit, antenna structure, Metamaterial (MTM) transmission line defected patch sensing blood level noninvasive process. For that, proposed is invoked measure glu cose through field leakages penetrated human skin. The sensor constructed from closed loop connected an interdigital capacitor magnify electric fringing at center. tenna found operate excellently first mode, 0.6GHz, with S11 impedance matching less than -10dB. performance tested experimentally 15 cases, different patients, measuring change spectra after direct touching finger print of patient. be effectively very efficient detector variation low manu facturing cost when printed FR-4 substrate. experi mental measurements are analyzed mathematically obtain calibration equation curve fitting. Finally, theoretical and experimental results agreed well percentage error 10%.
